What is Trancedance?

Trancedance is dance as a healing practice and spiritual experience, in which we move the body to release tension, explore expression and allow emotion - in order to remember a state of wholeness and sensuality. It releases that which keeps us from being ecstatic and free.

There are no choreographed moves, no way you need to be or feel. It is done with a blindfold on, to help you journey into your inner state. Often you can receive a gift, healing or insight from the dance - a message from yourself, sometimes in words, sometimes in pictures or feelings.

Suta and Trancedance

Suta trained to facilitate Trancedance with Leo Rutherford from the UK and Wilbert Alix from the US, and has been running Trancedances for eight years.
